Ramco Mirror camera not working

I broke off (long story) my Ramco 17.5" pass side mirror. I replace with a whole new unit including the built in camera. Now the camera does not work at all. I figured there must have blown a fuse when the mirror broke off and fell to the ground. I cannot find any fuses. The Ramco mirror has the ELE992 color camera which goes to a Voyager AOM-7694 monitor. I pulled out the monitor to check behind for fuse but no luck. The voyager manual states the side cameras should be connected to the vehicles turn signals which makes sense as that is what triggers them to turn on. The turn signals work fine. I hooked up the old camera from the broken mirror to see if that worked but it did not work either leaving me to believe it must be another fuse in there someplace. Any one have any suggestion where to look now to figure out why the camera is not working.
Thanks and have a great day..

Welcome back good to see you back.
In my signature below there are links to different items for your Newmar, here is one you can use for a reference.---12v fuse and wiring
Within QT's # 3 there is info on the mirrors if you need it.

It could be a busted wire. Grab a multimeter and see if you have good continuity from the mirror end to the monitor.

Thumbs up

Thanks for your information, it is helpful. I will check these out. I am heading to Elkhart this June and if I cannot figure it out, will see if I can get Ramco to take a look at it.

Thanks for your help, it is appreciated and keep up the great work here on IRV2.

Well, it took all summer long, but finally got the camera working. It turns out, the screen somehow got shorted when the mirror got knocked off and I had to replace the screen. This is after a stop at the Ramco plant, and Newmar factory etc where everyone diagnosed it to be the wire from the mirror going to the screen. When it blew the screen, it only blew the one channel that had that mirror on it. Maybe there is a fuse inside, that I could have replace instead of having to get a new screen, but its finally fixed anyway.
