When I flat tow my F150 I can feel the jiggle. Not in the wheel of the motorhome, but it requires a lot more course corrections to go straight down the road with the toad. I can see in the rear view camera the toad will move from side to side several inches even while going straight and the alignment on the F150 is good. Without the toad, the rv goes straight as an arrow with very little corrections needed. I did drive 11000 miles this year with it that way so it was not that bad but I did notice it. I have since added shims to various points, installed locking hitch pins on my extension/drop, and tightened up what could be tightened and this has helped a lot. There is also a lot of play in the two pieces of the surge brake system and with the design of that part, you cannot install any type of anti wobble system to it and there is a lot of play of the tube within a tube of this item as well. I never noticed this with my old blue ox tow bar which was retired because it was to light duty to use on an F150. I also have a friend who got the aluminum version(ready brute) of the NSA tow bar and one of his aluminum arms sheared right off in the first 100 miles! The NSA Atlas that I use is all steel-I would not trust aluminum for this. In spite of everyones rave reviews, I do not concur.
