rear closet sliding door latches ?

Hi folks,

I have finally gotten around to some of the DW punch list in the coach ...lol and on top of the list was the rear closet double sliding doors were hard to open and close..... turns out one of the top guild/rollers had been ripped off the door...long story short took them off replaced the guild reinstalled and glued the wood buttress at the closets right side (kinda like the frame around the doors) and now it looks as though there were 2 latches or something at the mid point of each closet wall (1 each side )that's not there any longer... (probably why the door was broken) anyone have a Kountry star that could tell me what these were ? Or better yet a pic? they were attached to the walls on each side of the closet just inside with 2 screws....

Thanks in advance for you help and consideration !

2001 DS latch

Mine were spring loaded assemblies on the wood and a metal ear that pinched between the spring loaded steel ball on the door . Didn't fit well and the door came loose all the time. I replaced them with the clear plastic door latches I found on the Newmar web site. They hold tight and are easily installed.

Hi owr,
I have an 05 so our latches may be the same. Call Newmar and ask for parts. Newmar has these in stock. Joe can send you as many as you want to purchase.

To make sure you get the correct latches. Have your coach number ready to give to Joe.
