Rear view mirror camera lights

I have a 2021 London Aire and noticed that while parked, and arriving back from dinner (it was dark) the red lights around my left and right rear view mirror cameras are on. Is this normal? Or can I turn this off?

Are you meaning to say the left and right side view mirror cameras? it is most likely that your cameras are always "hot" and the red lights you see are the IR LEDs for night vision use.

I don't have your brand of coach, but the camera arrangements may be similar. While parked, I can turn ON the TV, select the correct input, turn ON the camera display on the dash and see the camera view around the outside the coach.
Would it be possible that you have the interior dash camera display turned ON, which would activate the cameras on the mirrors while you are parked?

Thanks, camera staying on seems unnecessary, but newmar may have it setup that way..

Thanks, it is indeed a little weird that they stay on.

Those are the Infared lights turning on so that the camera can see an image. This is normal and you cannot turn them off unless you shut off all batteries.
