Rebooting your MH Fixes many Problems

I have found a dirty little secret. Whenever things in our Newmars aren’t operating correctly, try simply REBOOTING the Motorhome! What I mean is turn off the Salesman Switch AND the Chassis Breakers. This will restart all the Systems both in the MH and the Chassis systems.

Yesterday I started the MH to air up the suspension. I noticed the Navigation Panel wouldn’t startup. I tried several “restarts of the engine” but that didn’t work. So I REBOOTED the Salesman Switch and the Chassis and now everything works great!

Have you ever had an interior light or blind suddenly stop working? A simple REBOOT will likely clear the issue.

The moral of this story is that our MHs have many computer boards that now run most components. Just like our laptops, an occasional reboot will improve things.

Makes me glad I've got a pre computer coach . Engine / trans controllers aside.

X2 Dan. Its the first place I go when i have a problem. Its also the easiest first fix to try and only takes a minute. If a reboot doesn't work, I start digging deeper into other areas.
Thanks for the tip.
