Been there, done that, got it fixed last week

This is for all spartan chassis for 2019-2021.
The dash will go blank while driving. It's due to overheating.
A fix for the software and ductwork will be done, with letters going out in Novembet.

My dash went blank on mine. Its a FL. It was not due to overheating. It was 75 degrees outside when I started it and it was gone.
On the FL they are replacing the Viper Module. The recall notice did not specify Spartan or FL. It may be so but its happening across the makes

Read the recall == it specifically says that it is for the VALID dashboard on the SPARTAN chassis.

Well they should recall them all because I have only heard of it on FL and I have seen at least 20 people with the issue on FL.
They should issue an across the board recall.

My Optiview (FL) dash died also. Turned the key on in the morning and no joy. Drove cross country with it that way - on my way to Nappanee as it turns out. The Comfort Drive system stopped working too. Since it hasn't been fixed yet, I don't know the cause, but definitely not overheating.

You need to open a case with the NHTSA. Get owners to file complaints. If you read over my history of the 2019 FL dash display, you will see that I was successful in getting that dash recall for brightness put thru. It took 15 months, but in the end, a recall was issued.
