Removing booth dinette and going to free standing table

Looking at 4-6 year old Ventana's and wonder what the finished product would look like if I remove the booth and go with a free standing dinette. I've had a hobby for the last 32+ years of building furniture so creating the dinette is not a problem. I wonder when we remove the booth will we see places where there isn't carpet, wires to deal with, water lines, etc? Any input would be appreciated.

One specific floor plan we are looking at is the Ventana LE 3847 year 2014 model. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Seems all furnature in a rv hides something. Don’t think with your experience you’ll have a problem building around what’s hidden.
I removed a wrap around dinette which was hiding a bundle of wires as big as your fist. Boxed around it and added 2 duplex outlets. Looks like it was factory.
Good luck

It shouldn't be a problem, I removed everything from our slide out to replace it all including the carpet. The carpet should be one piece and the wall paper should be solid all the way to the floor. From the looks of the cabinet on the left I would "guess" it's solid to the floor also. There should be 4 long carriage bolts going through the floor holding the dinette to the slide out as well as a few around the edge. Good luck with it, it's not that bad.

Did this with our coach and only had to add a small piece of trim where one of the booth chairs joined the wall of the slide box. We did use a credenza which covered the wall area below the window.

You can order wall seam tape from Newmar,it comes in different sizes if you need to cover any screw holes or flaws. It matches the wall finish perfectly. If you look closely it is used throughout the motorhome where wall panels meet.

You should not have a problem and you could also add something like this which you can find how done at the end of QT's 1 & 2.
Here is another link of importance.
