Has anyone replaced their halogens? I "get" that I have twist the bulb in the assembly but I still cant remove the bulb. Its light the bulb is too big for the ring it goes into. Do I have to take out the philips head screws as well?

The Philips bulbs are HB 3 and 4. Has anyone had luck with sylvania silverstars?

They're just very tight, but they will come out.

The Silver Stars helped on our Fleetwood.

Make sure you don't touch the glass on the new bulbs with your bare hands as you put them in.

04 ks most lamps I have seen have a locking ring that has to be removed and lamp rubber ring may be stuck to housing needs a extra pull.

Locking ring, yes, that is what I would call it and its secured by 3 philips screws.

Thanks for the info, I managed to get one set of bulbs out without removing the lock ring, today Im going to finish the job and will remove the lock ring.

Im going t replace the Philips bulbs with silver star ultras. PIAA's are expensive and some claim their bulbs are not worth the extra money.

I ordered mine from Amazon at 15 bucks per pair less than the price at Walmart.
