I have done this in my 03 DS and it was pretty simple. took out the screws holding the connector to the panel and then reached up behind the panel and unscrewed the water connection. The hoses are just hand tight to the connector, sort of like garden hose. The City Fill uses a connection with a check valve while the Flush connection is open with no check valve. There is already a check valve in the Flush line under the bathroom sink.

While you’re making the change, those connectors are available in black, which would be my choice for the black tank flush. I don’t why Newmar doesn’t use black and white connectors to reenforce the labels in the wet bay.
