There are lot of LiPO4's around for a lot less.

I am dealing with a local solar installer who has priced out a custom-built 560ah battery bank for $2000. Lead batteries seem to be going up in price and LiPO4 are going down. It's very close to even money per AH.
I'm curious what batteries your local installer is using. A 500 amp-hour Battle Born system is selling for $5000 for just the batteries. I don't think I would shell out several thousand $$$$ for batteries of an unknown Chinese manufacture.

How much Por-15 does it take to do the battery compartment? Will a pint do it or do I need a quart?

Late last year I had to replace the drawer slides on my tray, one side started loosing the small bearings so I knew I had to do something so while the tray was out I went ahead and stripped it to paint. Earlier last year I had stripped the tray and painted with Rustoleum, what a waste of time and effort.

I bought a 6 pack of the smallest size, https://www.ebay.com/itm/352991268086 it was the best price per oz and you don't have to worry about a larger can going bad.

I used one can, it goes a long way. We'll see how it goes.

I kind of screwed up in that I couldn't do the second coat, I waited to long, so I didn't bother with it.
