Replacing Recliners -- how to get old ones out

We have a new DSDP 4018 (year model 2019) and want to take the recliners out.

Do we have to take the entry door off, or take the recliners apart?

Most recliners I've moved the back will come off. That bottom is usually a bear with all the metal in it to lift.

Flip it over and look for a spring latch that might release the entire back of the chair. It would fit thru the entry door with two strong people. The base/bottom is quite heavy. Good luck. mark

Wow! Brand new recliners. What's the reason?

The backrest has a release and slides up and off. To make life easy, flip the chairs over and remove the base, which includes the ring and swivel assembly. Once removed the chair is pretty easy to manage. You can lay down a blanket, turn the chair on it's side and roll it out the door. Rolling it is much easier on the back.

Not sure, they are white. Will keep your ID in case we replace them and you can have first dibs.
