right slide stuck out

On my 2006 Kountry Star, I am in Ft. Peck, MT and my right slide will not move. I have power at the panel in the bedroom for the slide circuits. Are there fuses for the switches too? Help would be greatly appreciated. Dick

I am assuming they are electric motor driven and not hydraulic fluid driven, correct?

If so, check whether you have 12VDC at the motor.

Here is the Newmar spec for slides.
In your Owners Guide you will have information on your slides.
The motor may need a slight adjustment on the control unit for increased movement for slide to get up the ramp.

All this information can be found in Quick Tips 1 & 2 and the COM_NET2 LINK.

Each slide will have its own control LR slide maybe in Kitchen cabinet.
When you adjust the control only turn in small increments so as to not crush anything on slide fascia.
The bedroom slide control maybe in linen closet and it rides on the flat floor and has motor and slide mechanism under bed.

If its the bed make sure nothing is jammed under the bed as slippers or flip flops.

After cranking the slide in manually, I finally found the relays in the compartment just ahead of the rear wheel on the passenger side. One relay was faulty. Thanks for the responses. Dick

Each of your slides has a controller and they are interchangeable. It is easy to try a different controller to isolate the problem.
On my KSDP the controllers are on the frame, easily accessable from the storage compartments.

Have a nice day - Darrel

How do you crank a slide in manually?Do you have to disconnect the motor?

sorry Rodney for not checking messages for a while. I went by the owners manual directions for using a 5/8 socket and rachet on the slide drive. I did not disconnect the motor, but it sure takes a lot of cranking. But after doing it once, I now know how to get the slide in if all else fails. Dick

Doubtful that you bought the controllers from Carquest. You might have gotten relays. The controller senses amps drawn by the motor and quits when the adjustable threshold is reached. Ours are over $200 each and there's one for each of the three slides. One has a voice module also.

Since you didn't buy the controller at Carquest, what did you buy that fixed the problem?
