RV Outdoor Longterm Parking/Storage

Hopefully I'm not duplicating topics - I tried searching through the existing posts for this, but didn't find any relevant threads.

I live in the San Francisco bay area and I'm looking at getting a used Newmar DP and investigating what it would take to store this. I can get an outdoor parking spot near the SF bay for parking.

Will this be too harsh an environment to store the RV? Does it matter what year or model that I get. Will that have any effect.

Personally I think the weather over the hill in Pleasanton or Livermore would be a better environment for storage, the salt and moisture by the bay will accelerate the deterioration of certain materials.

Storing near the ocean is bad. I had minor corrosion damage on my previous coach from the salt air encountered while storing about 9 miles from the ocean as the crow flies.
