This may or may not be related to the OP's issue but I had a water pressure problem a couple weeks ago while spending the weekend at a local campground we have been going to since Memorial Day in 1976. I hooked up to the pedestal just as I normally do. 3/4" hose and my 10 ga. power cord which both come into my wet bay through the little trap doors. I'm on a 20 Amp service so there's no need to uncoil my large 25' power cord and string it out. Also on the floor of my wet bay I also have a 25' 30 Amp extension cord coiled up which is also heavy and I have a 25' 3'4" spare water hose. These are all stacked together with my surge protector on top of the stack. This is all normal.
All weekend we seemed to have good water pressure out of the kitchen faucets, the bathroom faucet and the bath tub/ shower hose. The problem I had was when I flushed the toilet then added water to the bowl like I normally do the water seemed to flow into the bowl slowly. No matter how I wiggled the pull handle the water just more or less trickled into the toilet. Thinking there was something wrong with the toilet valve I lived with it but when I was ready to finish filling the black tank before dumping the tank it seemed to take forever. I wasn't happy about it but I lodged the fill handle open and kept an eye on the tank gauge while doing other packing up tasks.
The tank finally filled up and I dumped it then added my customary 5 gallons of water, a scoop of "Happy Camper" and a small amount of liquid laundry detergent.
Once I was all done I disconnected the power cord and my drain hose (Stinky Slinky) then I went to disconnect the fresh water hose. That was when I discovered the large power cords had moved slightly but enough to squeeze the fresh water hose so it was nearly shut off. I moved everything away from the hose and tried flushing the toilet. Eureka! All kinds of flow just like normal. This was one of those, "Why didn't I think of that" moments.
Iv'e never had a use for the large extension cord but I had it so I packed it away just in case for the last 9 years Iv'e owned this coach. It's stored in my pole barn now. On top of that I have my 25' coach power cord and my spare fresh water hose rolled up smaller and tied together so they can't pinch off my water hose again.
Sometimes the toughest problems have the simplest solutions.

Like lots of folks I almost never use a water connection other than to fill my tank. It’s just easier and more consistent to use the pump and the tank. The exception would be if I was in a park that had a good city water supply and I was going to be parked for a week or more.

Personally I'd rather use the full hook up I paid for. Especially when I know the campground as well as I do where I often go. Having gone there so long I have known every owner and have helped them anytime they had a project going and I was around. This campground has two pumps which cycle at 30 to 50 lbs. the same way as my pump does at my home. I have seen the tests and certifications many times done by the health department posted on the wall in the pump room. On top of that I have a pressure regulator which is set at 60 PSI.
The power needs upgrading but the latest owner has a plan, has already taken out a loan and when he gets to a certain point he will be in line for a grant to help complete the power upgrades. This will be a major undertaking.
This campground started out as a 30 site campground in 1972 and has expanded to 183 sites at last count. Many many FHU seasonal sites. All very well kept. Some daily or weekly sites lack sewer but there is 'Honey Wagon" service available for those who lack it.
I can see no reason to wear out my onboard water pump when it's not necessary. I do carry a spare but I'm in no rush to use it.
