RV Radio

I own a1998 Dutch Star and it's time to replace the radio. I want one with blue tooth and USB connection, along with a CD player that can be wired to my coach's harness. Any suggestions.

Kenwood DDX- series. I have the 470. Startled me the first time the phone rang. Works well. It even plays DVD's. Has input for ipod. Mine came Sirius ready. Has a touch screen.

When we replaced our radio, went to Best Buy and replaced it with a radio that had a "remote". We have found that while driving, it is a safety feature, as the DW can make the changes and the driver sticks to driving. There were several brands to choose from and they all had features that we were looking for. Had to use a custom kit from Best Buy as the footprint of the existing was different then the new radio....Is was not a difficult installation. FYI

Only suggestion is Crutchfield.

About the largerst collection of options you will find on the net

Crutchfield: Car Stereo, Speakers, Home Theater, Pro Audio, LED TV if I am not mistaken.

I have never had a well-functioning AM radio in a motorhome. I suspect it is antenna, ground and interference related.

If you have a regular single DIN radio the Sony MEX-N5000BT is hard to beat , for $129.99 at Best Buy. Has bluetooth, audio in jack and USB. My 2001 Adventurer had a Sony radio, this plugged right in.

I thoroughly investigated replacement radios for two MH's.
My primary requirement was the radio MUST have SCAN feature...not just SEARCH. I don't need to be punching buttons while driving the box-car.
I was surprised by the lack of SCAN feature in replacement radios especially in single DIN size. If my dash areas would have been bigger I would have converted to double DIN.
Overall I'm happy with my hi-wattage replacements which were supplied by Crutchfield and include Bluetooth, USB, aux, Sirius, cd/dvd, remote and sub-woofer. I also replaced all four speakers and installed a sub.
