Yes it's a great add on but like Don mentioned above, put a mesh type fire hose covering material over it and cover the hose clamps with heat shrinkable tubing.

Can one of you fine people help me out with more detail on the protective mesh cover you are referring to? Is this a sleave from Newmar?

This is what I used to cover the hose: 25ft - 1.5 inch PET Expandable Braided Sleeving

This is what I used. Bought a 25 ft piece via Amazon and very pleased with it and the shrinkable tubing to finish it off. Might be able to find more info with a search here on the forum.

We have a 2021 DSDP on order. I have two questions on the SaniCon system (1) How long is the hose? (2) Can you add an extension hose to it if needed?

The hose will stretch to 20'. I removed the SaniCon hose end that goes in the drain and made one that was more useful out of pvc. Since the last piece of pvc is a 1" threaded male, I bought an additional 20' hose and put a female pvc fitting on one end...so they can be attached without a bulky fitting.

You can add another section by using Banjo clamps. I carry an extra section and only use it when needed.

Ok, a lot has happened but we are happily about to be owners of a '21 Superstar 4061 in a couple of weeks. As we are finalizing the dealer items, Newmar would not install a Sani-con on the unit, and I just heart from our dealer's service dept they can't do one either.

So, recognizing how handy this group is, and already having found a couple of places a Sani-con would be handy where I go fishing and there is only a pit latrine, I figured I though this to the group.

While the 500, 600, 700 models might be a challenge I wonder if the 400 bayonets might, even if I have to shorten the length of drain. Not ideal to have the pump outside the coach but depending on size its protected in the cutaway...

Below are pics of the water bay, and hose box to the right. The pic of the hose storage bay should be rotated 90 deg clockwise.

All thoughts welcome.

Sanicon 400 Class C

Any feed back from anyone who may have used a Sanicon Turbo 400 on a Class C rig. I really don't see anyone discussing class C. I'm sure it will work I was just wondering about peoples configs or experiences.

Thank you
R
