I'm just excited about the cleanliness of the sanicon setup. Plugging and unplugging a 3" hose that you just ran sewer water through is not very appealing, and having wet toilet paper spray all over the ground doesn't make for a pleasant morning, no matter how fast it is. On the other hand, pulling out a garden hose and sticking it into the drain doesn't seem bad at all. And I trust Newmar to do a classy install.

anyone see a good pic of a 2018 dutch star wet bay with the option installed ?

On my previous motorhomes I had a stinky slinky. Boy did I hate dumping the tanks. I now have a Sanicon system and don't mind emptying the tanks other than the occasional disgusting stations where someone else made a mess. I've had both and would never go back to a slinky. If I ever buy a new coach I'd be sure to get the Turbo Sanicon, and if they make an upgrade to a Turbo I'll get that in a minute.

I have Sani-con on my 2017 Dutch Star & love the ease hook up & take down -clean & easy. It was installed in production not after the fact.
As for the 10 minutes it takes to dump - I don't find that to be a big deal. The Turbo unit will not fit the Dutch Star so that was not an option but the Turbo unit is twice as fast.
It connects at the tank output the same way the stinky slinky connects so you can swap to the slinky in seconds if you need a honey wagon pump out.
Again, I love the sani-con & would not have a coach without it. *JMO

Me too. If only there was a reliable option of a clear section near the handle to “verify” the tank flush. I think Sanicon would sell many of a field installable kit (anyone at Sanicon or the parent company listening?)

No Grey bypass. Not sure why I need it now. You can leave the Grey valve open and it runs out I think. If I’m going to stay someplace more than three days, I’ll probably use the slinky. Easy swap.

Is there a place to run it out of the compartment with the door closed?

Through the same hole as the slinky.

So the end of the hose from the Sanicon shown on the last picture goes through the opening shown on the last picture? Do you just pop out the cover and the big end goes through?

I have to ask... we just got a Mountain Aire with a Sani-con Turbo. It works like a charm. Am I the first one to ever drop the cover/cap down the sewer pipe?

Open the cover, disconnect the pipe to the sewer outlet, pass the nozzle through the hole then reconnect. Piece of cake.
