Sanicon update
Asked customer service if my sanicon would be the standard or the turbo like the New Aire. This is their answer.
"The Thetford Sani-Con pump that we were using recently when end of life and was replaced by a larger capacity Turbo-600 pump per 2018 ECO-214.
The Turbo-600 was integrated into production starting with unit 606803 on Run 7."
My coach is 606969, run 10, so yeah...

Same plumbing setup but a higher capacity pump for the Dutchstar? The current Dutchstar does not have a Turbo option only a regular Sanicon-con option.

They didn't mention anything about a bigger outlet hose. I think the turbo have an inch and a half hose. I guess I'll find out in six weeks.

That's a nice surprise! Glad they updated to the turbo as when we ordered 6 months ago our dealer advised us against the system unless it was the turbo option which was not available on Dutch Stars. We ended up getting the sewer solution after delivery which has worked great for us as an alternative.

I figured if it doesn't work out, it will be easier to take it out than to try adding it after. I just hope when I'm parked for 3 or 4 months it will work as well as the 3" tube option. I didn't have a bit of a problem with that. Every few days go out and pull the valves, hook up the rinse hose and done.
But it was on the road that pulling that 3" inch hose out, hooking it up, running it to the dump hole, having someone step on the hose to be sure it didn't pop out of the hole, cleaning it after, IF we had water. That's when I'm thinking the Sanicon will be the most useful.
I tried the waste master too, but I hooked it up wrong. I should have put an elbow on the outlet and then hooked the wastemaster under the chassis. Found that out on this forum. The Newmar was my second rig and I had never camped for more than two days so never hooked up for long term. I cut the tabs off the sewer outlet and glued the wastemaster adapter directly to it. Then I realized it wouldn't go down through the hole for long term parking. It would have been immensely helpful if the wastemaster people would have explained it better in the instructions. I called their customer support and sent them pictures and they told me it wasn't designed for class A motorhomes. Pretty lame customer service if you ask me. Ended up replacing the entire valve setup. Not bad because while I was at the factory I bought the entire assembly for $34. Took me about an hour to bring it all back to stock. Good experience, built my character, especially after the metal ring on the wastemaster took a chunk out of my finger.

Bill,
The MA and up have a Turbo in a box and includes a bypass to dump without the pump. The DS version will look like the current DS model mounted to the floor? Maybe they can send you a picture. The existing Turbo versions have a 1.5 inch discharge hose.
I have not seen anything on the Sami-con web page.

This is all they sent. Not sure it helps me a lot. Does look like a inch and a half outlet though.

Thanks
Yes looks like 1.5 inch and the pump is exposed and looks mounted to the floor. Totally different than the old Sani-Con and different than the Turbo setup in the MA and up.

The hose looks bigger than my 1 inch, So I think you have the turbo but set up different than the MA.

I don't see a bypass anywhere, do you guys see one? And I'm not sure why the long 3" hose. I would have put a "T" or another gate valve as a bypass.

I wonder what the Turbo 600 has that the Turbo 500 in the manual does not have?

Thanks for the link Ralph!
Wow, it says a 40 gallon tank takes one minute. Nothing wrong with that!
