Sanitize bypass Oasis?

Reading a thread on the Entegra forum about the need to bypass the Aqua-Hot system when sanitizing to protect the copper piping from the chorine. I know the Oasis and Aqua-hot are similar, but I do not see any instructions in my manual about bypassing the Oasis. (and to be fair, I haven't looked at the coach to even see if there are valves for such)...
This group is so knowledgeable, I thought I'd ask, anyone know if this is necessary? It would seem that you would want to also sanitize the Oasis unit as well. If no bypass, I'm just going to follow the instructions Newmar put in the manual.

Absolutely, no need to bypass Oasis system when sanitizing water.

Oasis is a closed-loop, heat exchange system; the coach fresh water system (or any other system) has no direct connection to it. The Oasis fluid moves in its own closed loop and water is heated by passing it next to the heated fluid in a heat exchanger without ever coming into contact with it. Nothing you do with the coach water system will affect the Oasis system.

For cold water no interaction with Oasis.
For hot the fresh water (sterilizing solution) does pass through the Oasis water heating loop and is heated by a heat exchanger and either diesel, electric or engine coolant while running.
I have sterilized my FW system with no negative affects when using the typical 1/4 cup bleach per 15 gal capacity and with 8 - 12 hr rexident time before flushing.
