Satellite TV on '21 New Aire 3545
I'm just getting more and more confused. I suppose I can climb up on the roof to see what is installed, but the factory paperwork says Winegard SKM-100. When I call Dish, they don't know what that is and can't help me.
Is there some other way to see what dish I have?
Thank you, folks.

It’s probably the traveler. Do you have a winegard satellite controller in a cabinet over the drivers seat? If it is if you power it up it will begin searching for satellites. I found winegard to be a lot more helpful on setting up my receivers than Dish. If you have difficulties getting two receivers to work you may need a powered splitter switch. Wine gard can help with that too.

What you have is the SK-1000. Take a look at the attachment. My Newmar paperwork says the same as yours. No idea why.

I believe your dish is a TRAV’LER Model SK-SWM3. I also believe it is setup for DIRECTV unless you or the prior owner ordered it setup for DISH.

The SK-1000 is the Winegard Trav'ler antenna for Dish network. If you want to connect, you will need a receiver. There are two different configurations depending on if you want to use Wally receiver(s) or a Hopper 3 system. If you use a Wally, you will need the DISH SKDPHPI Switch Kit for SK-1000 & Wally Receivers. If you use a Hopper 3 system, you will only need a Dish Network Pro Hybrid Solo Hub
Hope this makes sense.

I think you're right. I climbed up on my office and used some binoculars. It looks like LG2112 in small type, but the unit is as you suggested, above the driver's seat, and when I boot it up it says Traveler SK1000.
Now I need to figure out what receiver and package.
Thank you, people.

That's definitely it. Thank you! It was a tad "in the future" to watch that thing stand up, whirl around, and lock onto a higher power. Obeys a lot better than my kids did.

This was a unit that we bought new from a dealer, so presumably they spec'ed it from Newmar. The thing does say "DISH" on it, so that means it's not DirectTV? I thought they could work on either network, but I'm fairly clueless so far. As you can tell.
