Scheduling Service Work

Can someone tell me the procedure for scheduling service work at the factory after the Newmar warranty has expired?

When you call, you need to have at least one item on your list.

If you have multiple things to be done, give them all the details up front. They are going to block off time for you. They still always allow you to add items, but if you are adding too much on the day if, they may ask you to wait for those to be worked in and keep you there longer while they service others that where scheduled.

Add 2 days to whatever estimate they give you initially...especially if your.first day is closer to the end of the week.

Service Work

OK, after calling and being routed to several different people, and sending a description of the problem, I received an "estimate" for each item. This estimate is for diagnostic labor only, and typically being 2 hours at $135 an hour. My question is this a minimum charge for each item? and as an estimate, if diagnosis takes longer charges will be assessed accordingly? Two Hours labor to figure out why a window shade is not working properly seems like an excessive amount of time to deal with a problem they have had over and again, just saying.
