Screen Mirroring

Does anyone know what the setting "Screen Mirroring" means on the Televisions in my 2015 Dutch Star mean? Not a big deal but I am the curious type😀

I suspect that option would be used when/if you want to send the video from your phone or ipad, etc to your TV.

Mirroring displays the desktop of a connected mobile phone, tablet or computer on your TV screen. What you see on your TV is a "mirror" of what is displayed on the connected device.

Sony TV's use "Miracast", which is a technology to project the contents of your phone/tablet to the TV.

Here's an article that may help:

https://us.en.kb.sony.com/app/answer...reen-mirroring.

Problem is, it doesn't work with Apple devices, last I understood.

If you're using Android it's no problem at all

Windows Phone also supported it starting in 8.1

Thanks everyone for the responses, unfortunately I have Apple devices so I guess the mirroring is out. But it did learn about connecting via cable so that could be a help at home as well as in the RV. IRV forum comes through again!
