Sealant/Caulk
I need to re-caulk the verticle seams where the front cap is attached. It looks like Newmar used clear silicone. Is that correct? Thanks

They probably did. I would go back with Dicor after removing all the old caulk

You can use the Dicor or Sikaflex 521UV which I purchased from Newmar, Lowes or HD may have it also.
If it looks shiny maybe the paint in that area not silicone.

I agree, remove the old and use Dicor self leveling caulk. I put new plumping roof vents and the Dicor is fantastic. It is like working with marshmellow fluff.

You don't want to use self leveling caulk/sealant on vertical surfaces, it'll all end up on the ground.
If your rig is painted you want to use a clear silicone or other high tech clear caulk/sealant. I believe Newmar uses silicone.

Route66, it is full body paint and I thought it looked like silicone. I took the Diamond Shield off and the solvent I used to take the adhesive off loosened some of the caulk. Silicone it will be. When I sealed some things on the roofs I used the self leveling Dicor. Thanks all for your help. Bob
