Security (Scare) Lights On Sides Of Coach

Okay... After a lot of searching, I found the light switch for the security light (the big round one) on the passenger side of the coach. Newmar hid it under the upper cabinets, right above the sink.

I now have the security light on the driver's side on. I have looked everywhere, but can't see another switch on the walls or cabinets.

You Newmar engineer's are a sneaky group, but I will figure this out sooner or later...

Fleetwood had a switch labeled " utility" on the dash of my Bounder. It worked that light as well as the one under the hood and the service bay. Hopefully other Newmar owners will be of more help.

On our '02 4090 we had extra switches added in the bedroom. They put the front ones in the overhead cabinet in front of the passenger. We also had 4 lights since 2 weren't enough on the '00 DSDP 3865.

FYI to 2017 DS buyers. When you are lying in bed and look up at the light panel, there are now additional switches marked "Sec" that control the scare lights that the OP is referring to.

Took us some time to figure what the switches are for.

Yep.... Up in the electronics control panel. I think there was a label there, but it fell off. If you look closely at the plastic cover plate, it says "Security."
