Self Leveling Dicor reformulated?

Yesterday I was applying some Self Leveling Dicor to a few areas on the roof. The tube was recently purchased & is p/n 501LSW. After the tube was depleted I retrieved an unopened tube that I carry onboard for emergency use. It was also labeled as 501LSW.

I noticed that the newer Dicor had a matte finish as it cured while the older tube flowed easier & had a smooth finish with a slight sheen to it, very similar to the original Dicor that Newmar used during the coach build.

Comparing the two tubes, they both had the same p/n & UPC code. However the newer tube (9-19 date code) had an orange band at top & bottom while the older tube (10-17 date code) had a green band at top & bottom.

Looks like Dicor may have reformulated the product. I have called Dicor a couple of times but have not been able to speak with anyone. Curious if others have noted a change in the product.

It would not be unusual IMO, companies are always trying to make products for less money to improve profit margin.

I just bought 3 new tubes and they were Orange as well. I have two old green tubes so I used the first. So I still have the 3 oranges left. This should be interesting to find out if there is a difference.
