Setting Correct corner Tire Pressure with a Tag

In my previous coach without a Tag, weighing the coach at a FMCA rallye with the technician and 4 scales was easy. Now without going to a FMCA event, what is the best procedure for weighing a coach with a Tag.

I have front axle weights and rear axle weights from a truck scale. I did not weigh each corner individually. Allowing for a 15% difference in weight side to side per axle, I came up with pressures for the front.

In the rear, does the Tag tire assume 1/3 of the weight of the rear per side?

You should be able to position the drive and tag on separate scale sections at any CAT scale. I was able to get weights for all three axles in one weighing this way. The tag shows up as a “trailer” weight.

If you are near one of NIRVCs 4 locations they all have a set of scales that will get you the individual wheel weights for each axle.

The tag is normally set at 50% of the drive wheels. So with dual drive wheels all 3 tires should have the same load and pressure.
