Setting Xantrex Custom Charging Parameters

I’m upgrading house batteries from AGM to Li. As part of that process, I need to set Li charging parameters in my Xantrex FSW 3012 inverter/charger.

I can navigate to the “custom” battery type through the Silverleaf interface. However, I have been unable to subsequently find settings for bulk, absorption, and float charging voltages. I talked to Xantrex tech support and was told I would only be able to access those settings using a Xanbus System Control Panel.

Is that true or is there a way to set charging voltages through Silverleaf? (I have left messages with Silverleaf Tech Support, but have not received a return call to date.)

With that new of a rig, Silverleaf should be able to tell the Xantrex inverter/charger what the new parameters are as I believe Lithionics was an option back then (or just becoming so). It'll also control how your battery joiner can work almost like a BIM during alternator charging. I'd try the Silverleaf folks again. Hopefully the firmware version of your Silverleaf is new enough to fully support, otherwise they may have to do a firmware update for you.
