Sewer hose connection and storage compartment questions
My new to us '07 KSDP. 3912, has a compartment with a door marked to stow the sewer hose. My old hose set up does not fit. Before I spend money on a new set up, I thought you folks with a similar rig can advise me about the does and don'ts to make use of this storage slot.
And relayed to that: I find the sewer hose hook up on the rig is almost horizontal, but does flex up and down slightly. And the sewer compartment pass the opening on the bottom almost kinks my old hose to go from the connector , thru the opening. When connected.

The storage tube was designed for old style hoses, with no park end connectors , my Rhino won't fit either.
I purchased a 90 degree clear, plastic elbow for the sewer , lines up perfectly.

Like Skip426 I use a 90 degree clear elbow to hook to the outlet valve. It will line up with the hole in the bottom of compartment. I use all Blue Line fittings and hoses. They are all slip on connectors. That's probably the only hoses you will find that will fit into your hose compartment. the slip on fittings are no larger than the hose, so they will slide into the compartment and make the bends in the tube.

Yes, I like Blue Line too. I use 45 degree adapter instead of a 90 degree. This is not a Blue Line part, just a generic adapter. I keep it on at all times and put the cap on it when not hooked up.

I use a 45 myself.
If your storage is a bumper you can mount a Plastic Fence post on it.. These come in assorted sizes. 7" WIll be more than big enough.. 6 or 5 might.. Take a coupler with you to measure if you need to.

I use a clear 45 adaptor also. My Rhino will not fit in the side tube so I use it for my extension hose with a fitting only on one end. The number of times I need an extension are rare so I just put it on as needed.
As for the regular Rhino, I have it coiled up in the bottom of the wet bay. When I store it, I spray it with a mild bleach solution.
This have never been my first choice so today I'm mounting a 64" X 4" tube I bought at CW. Mounting under the chassis just ahead go the rear wheels, handy to the wet bay.
When I get it finished, I'll post some rare photos for your viewing enjoyment. In the meantime, here is what I have now.
