Shock help!!

I am purchasing new shocks for my 1999 DSDP (Spartan Chassis). I have the rear shocks (original Bilstein replacements), but am having a heck of a time finding the front. According to Spartan, the original Bilstein front shocks were part# BE5-2564-H0 (new part# 24-186476). I have searched online like crazy, found sites that list them, but they are all on backorder...some since September of last year. I'm not sure if those have been completely discontinued or not. I tried searching for an interchange, but found nothing. I even called Monroe and they only had an interchange for the rear. Has anyone recently put new shocks on a comparable chassis? If so, what brand and part#. This is starting to drive me crazy! By the way, Bilstein has been of no help, so far, either.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Summit racing and Allshocks did not have them in stock (as well as several others)...all back ordered. I will check eshocks.

Additionally, I called spartan to get my chassis model and they told me it is an IC. That is all they could tell me. I don't see that as an option when searching for shocks by chassis. My rig is new to me. Can someone tell me if the IC is I-beam or IFS?

Don't think DS was ever built on I-beam. I'am sure some one will correct me if I am wrong. My 99 MADP was IFS.

You mentioned calling Spartan you did not say whether they had them. Did you check with rvchassisparts.com (Spartan web)

Have you tried shockwarehouse.com. Never bought from them but the owner spent quite a bit of time with me with a ride problem I had.

Yes, I've tried shock warehouse, truckspring and others. I talked with someone at eshocks (thanks Palehorse) and it appears to be a factory back order. Eshocks is expecting them in late March.

DAJO, I did check with Spartan. No luck.

Thanks all, for the feedback. Guess I'll wait out the back order.

Shox.com? I bought my Konis from them a few months ago. Prompt shipping, good service.

Sorry for the long delay. I've been in the process of buying/moving to a new home since early May. Finally got settled in on 10.4 gorgeous acres with that all-important RV pad and hook up (no more offsite storage). Anyway, finally received my back-ordered shocks in late April and had them installed before bringing the Dutchess up to her new home. I have to tell you, putting 4 new shocks all the way around did wonders for the drivability and handling! Can't wait to get her out on 'real' trip soon. Thanks again for all the advice on this subject.
