Shout Out to North Trails

I know everyone has there personal view of Newmar dealers and there service but I’m here to tell you my experiences with North Trails.
History first….
Purchased my first New Aire ( 2018 3343 ) from a dealer in the NE that no longer exists.
Did factory P/U and it was worth every Penny to do so.
Went back to Nappanee for follow up on warrantee repairs. How was the service…very good with some issues with the Cummins initially on its maiden voyage to Hilton Head from Nappanee but nothing that the great people at Gaffney couldn’t take care of.
Fast forward to March of 2022 and we decided to go for a 2022 3543 special order from North Trails because we winter in Naples.
Coach came in on about August of 2022 and Ivan swept through Ft. Myers before we did P/U at North Trails in October.
Was I worried…new coach that we haven’t even seen and it’s out in a hurricane 😳
Guess what…NT put it inside for the hurricane and even though it had 60 hours on the generator when we picked it up…all was good ( AGS worked when North Trails lost power for a week).
Our salesman Kurt stayed late into the dark that p/u day so we could transfer everything over from our trade to the new coach👍 It was my birthday that day and when we finally opened the frig later that day there was a special birthday cake in there…Kurt is great.
That was only the beginning of our pleasurable experience with North Trails.
Yes issue’s arose but Derick the Service Manager,Brett the service boss ,Kurt our original salesman,Nawdia the front end appointment person all were great.
The star of the show though is Mike Phillips our service writer…can’t say enough about him.
Does he do his job…oh ya….does he do his job exceptionally..most definetly .
But what is unbelievable about this North Trail asset is as small issues come up on the road just call Mike and he not only gets back to u he suggests a fix …his fixes WORK…he is 3 for 3 so far….his over 15 year knowledge of RVs I’m sure comes in handy but his thoroughness and demeanor are unmatched.
When on site he takes time to listen and finds the issue to direct there skilled technicians to.
No I’m not easy to please and really have OCD sometimes 😉
I do know myRVs having been doing this RV thing for over 35 years…but have never had a better experience with a new RV then North Trails……and never a service writer like Mike 👍

I have also had very good service experiences with North Trails. We have owned two Newmars and bought them both from another Florida Newmar dealer. I have used both North Trail and the original dealer in Orlando for service, upgrades and warranty. North Trail is closer to our Lauderdale home.

We have brought our Coaches there 5 or 6 times over the years. My service writer, Shawn, has always done an excellent job with communications and being mindful of my realistic deadlines. I have balanced my work orders between warranty and billable service/upgrades. I believe spending a fair bit of money in their Service department is only fair since we did not buy the Coaches from them. Tyrone bands, 6,000 mile services (they are a Freightliner Service Center and can handle FL recalls and warranty items), generator service. They also do alignments and corner weighing (including adjusting tire pressures and reprogramming Valor system).

Another shout out for North Trail, I only wish l still lived closer to them. Finding good competent service is hard to find.
