Shout out to Progressive Industries

Have a 50 amp Progressive EMS-PT50C surge protector. Bought in 2015. Issue: from home to campground ran generator, once at campground tried to use surge protector. Kept getting PE 06 error which means low voltage on leg two. Couple of triess to trouble shoot and called Progressive Industries Tech support. Tech Support said broke and to go to their warranty web site and request a new one. Put request in this morning, and within a couple of hours later had an email stating approved for a free replacement. Recipient, and picture of receptacle and plug was needed to make request.

Pretty cool and convenient!

That’s good news. I’m glad I went with them!

Good news. I think they were bought out recently and some had reported that they were not standing behind the product as they had in the past.

I just had the same problem. My coach started dropping the air conditioners about 4 pm and rebooting. I quickly turned them off and went outside to see E06 and the voltage on the display was 109V on line 2 and 111V on line 1. Brown out.

I moved to a different site but made sure I measured the voltage at the sites offered before the move. I found another site with the same voltages too.
I moved and no problem displayed and have since moved to another state and no problems here either.

We, just within the last month, had ours go bad as well. Progressive was super fast and treated us that well also. I’m getting so I take negative reports on here with a lot of skepticism. Their warranty system is not unreasonable.

Tech support stated 104 volts and below cause PE06 error. I used multimeter all was normal at park power box. Tech stated somehow water must of gotten in surge protector.

I have held off buying a surge protector for no real good reason. This past week I got an E-Mail from a company I buy parts from and they were having a sale on Progressive surge protectors. I pulled the trigger and ordered one and have it in my MH now.
Thank you for reassuring me I made the right decision.
"Anyone can make a first time sale. The repeat sales come from good service."
This was a quote from a former employer of mine when I was the service manager in a Cadillac dealership.

For years, Ive been running something like this inside the coach. It's just plugged into a wall outlet in the living area. If I suspect low voltage, I can take a quick look at this and then determine if I need to deal with a low voltage issue at the shore post. Mine is old school, but there are much nicer LED models so you can take a quick look when suspicious about the power.

I have the Progressive Industries EMS-HW50C. I purchased the the Remote Digital Switch and Display (EMS-RDS) and installed it inside the MH. After I hook up, I switch to the inside display and monitor the power from it.

I have a volt meter similar to this one I keep in my MH. I also use it in my house when the power goes out and my LP powered 16.5 K. stand by generator takes over.

I also had a good experience with Progressive and their surge protectors.

I purchased a SSP-50XL about a year ago. Suddenly, last week, half of my outlets in the coach had no power, when on shore power. My 'Idiot lights' were still operating normally, with the blue light noticeably dimmer than it had been.

Bypassing the surge protector, all outlets were working. I sent the pictures to the warranty folks, and was notified a couple hours later, that the warranty claim was approved, and a new unit would be shipped.
I haven't received it yet, but so far, I'm impressed.
