Shower Drain - unscrew or Pop Out
I can't get it to budge. I'm probably going to have to destroy it. I would prefer not to damage Corian floor.

Does it look like this?
Center slotted area is 'snap in' style
Sometimes installer uses a couple of dabs of silicone when setting
They do pop out

Precisely. In fact, I first tried unscrewing it using the slot. That didn't work. I'll give it a shot.

Not sure how I removed mine but I think I just popped it out. I replaced it with a screen (siliconed down) you can get at any hardware store. I'm a firm believer in these because I used to have to call in a plumber every so often to my stick and brick house to remove hair from the drains. I installed these on all my shower drains and have not had to call a plumber again for decades. These screens are moldable so they can be adapted to your drain. They are not shiny and pretty but very practical.

I have tried everything to get mine out and all I have been able to do is bend the slot. An RV tech couldn't get it out either. Sigh . . .

Success at last. I did destroy the screen, but it finally popped out. Clog is gone, drain works, and strainer is ordered. Thanks for the advice.

FWIW, if yours looks like the one in the photo above, only the inner circle comes out. The outer ring does not, at least on mine. I thought it would be like the one in my shower at home, and the whole thing would come out. Not so and it was practically glued into the outer ring.

Mine was the pop out style with the slot in the middle that looks like it is for a screw driver. I was going to have to tear it up probably to get it out until I discovered that I could clean the scale out around the edge of the inner piece and the outer ring. Once I had cleaned the scale off the center piece popped out like it is supposed to and I was able to clean out the hair, and Voila! speedy drain again.
