Simple way to re-calibrate leveling on 2016 Essex?

Hello from near Bend, Oregon. When leveling with either the HWH hydraulic leveling jacks OR with the Valid air leveling system, the front end of the coach is always higher by 3 - 4 inches. I am thinking they must share the same sensor(s). Is anyone aware of a way to re-calibrate the leveling system? Thank you, Jeff...

I was under there once and spotted the sensor, so gave it a small adjustment, just to see what would happen. It did improve things, but need to adjust some more to get it right.

The HWH does have an adjustment procedure, but without going to the instructions I couldn't repeat it.

Are you SURE the coach is out of level?? I often look at ours and think it's not level until I verify it with a bubble... And it is level...

Good Morning Ken... I know EXACTLY what you mean as it can sometimes be deceiving. I do carry (and use for verification) both a 24" bubble level and one of those lighted leveling gadgets with four lighted legs for RV's that one sets on the floor. I now have a call in to Transwest tech assistance man. I asked for instructions to be emailed if he can, and if so, I will post them. Thank you, Jeff...

My coach has the Valid system. There are 2 level environment, traveling and parked. The valves on the axles control level while in motion. The Valid console controls level when parked. The console controls many functions like wake up times, level tolerances, etc. Valid will send you a PDF file to adjust these at the console. If you want to adjust the parked level it's called a "zero reset". I used a 6 foot level running front to back and a 4 foot level for left to right. Short version is you go into manual mode and level using your levels and then set that as true level on the console. Next time you auto level the system uses what you have defined as level. This made a difference on my basement door clearance under the full wall slide.

I have a "Spirit Level" app on my iPad that shows the front to back and side to side level in degrees. I simply lay my iPad on the floor beside me when I am parking and I can see exactly how level I am and gauge how high I might have to extend the jacks to attain level. It's a great free app that is very convenient to use.
