Sleep Number Bed

I am curious how many Owners like and have kept the sleep number bed that comes standard in their coach vs changing it out to a different type?

We love ours. I like a softer mattress and she prefers a little firmer setting and the Sleep Number allows individual settings.

A word of caution....replacing the sleep number with a standard type mattress will create issues in lifting the mattess and platform for underneath storage. Most are too heavy and wont flex enough.

Hi - We have had a Sleep Number in our last two coaches and would not want anything else. We both love it and if the day ever comes that we go back to sticks and bricks it will have a Sleep Number mattress as well.

Love ours. Just make sure you drop the air pressure down BEFORE you cross the Rockies!

We have a King at home and a Queen in the MH and love them. Just remember to deflate the one in the MH if you are headed to the high country.

We got rid of ours recently in favor of a memory foam-type mattress. We bought a memory foam for our bed in the S&B and really liked it, so we decided to carry it thru to the MH. We were never crazy about the sleep number on our queen sized MH bed.

We have the Sleep Number in the MH and L-O-V-E it...we purchased a mattress for the S&B 2 years ago-it's the standard coil type. I would trade the Sleep Number for that in a heartbeat!

We've got ours.

Tried a 4" memory foam topper when we had the 5er, didn't like it. It was hot and sometimes hard to roll over.

After we found our number, the Sleep Number works great.

Installed ours over a year ago and would not leave home without it. No problem raising the platform over the engine.

Gee, Is it standard now? Not when we purchased our 2014 Mountain Aire. But that’s besides the point.

We had a King size Sleep Number in our house so when first started out in a 5th Wheel, we sought out a Sleep Number type mattress.
We fulltime now and with the Mountain Aire we had the regular mattress that Newmar put in the coach swapped out for a Queen Sleep Number.

Since we both like a different firmness, Sleep Number is the perfect fit.

Our 2016 Canyon Star came standard with the sleep number mattress. We had never slept on one before. After a few nights finding our preferred number, we like it just fine.

We have one and really like it. We find it to be very comfortable for both of us.
