Slide adjustment - again

2019 Canyon Star 3627, kitchen slide, single motor with manual slide locks that I never use.

Before taking delivery someone at the dealership operated the slide with a drawer extended and apparently jacked the slide around. They said they adjusted but I think they just turned up the current limiter and let it go at that.

I've since read a lot of the slide threads on here and all the Newmar slide documents I can find. I never extend or retract until the current limiter stops the motor. When I decide the slide is in or out all the way I release the button. I have never been a fan of current limit stop systems on anything.

Just to be clear, by front and rear, I mean the edge of the slide toward the front and the edge toward the rear. Thru full movement of the slide in or out it is equal on both front and rear edges until it gets to the point it drops down to the floor level. After a good bit of popping and creaking, the front edge touches and is extended 23 5/8" and the inner seal is just starting to compress. The rear edge is extended 22 1/2" and the inner seal has not yet made contact. Neither stop rod has bottomed out yet. A little more and the front stop rod contacts but the rear is still about 1/2" from the seal. If I continue to press the switch the rear will eventually compress the seal and the stop rod will contact.

When full in or full out all is even and sealed. When moving in or out before dropping down, all is even. I can't seem to do anything about it and all I've adjusted is the forward transtorque bushing. I haven't touched the stop rods. It also makes a lot of popping and scraping noises. Just wondering if all that sounds normal?

This is my 9 motorhome so I'm no stranger to all kinds of slide mechanisms but this is the first one I've had that sounded and felt like something is going to break or fall apart. Am I just being paranoid?

My front living room slide on my Bay Star was making a popping noise when I brought it to Nappanee for warranty work. They adjusted the bushing and it stopped. But I always run all my slides until they stop on their own.

is the pot on control still turned up as far as it can go, if it is I would turn it back to where the slide still operates as it should.
If you over load current to motor you may have caused the cog gear to pop off a hole and has put slide out of alignment.
Your also under warranty why not have your dealer reset the slide position.
Their are slide spec's in QT's 1 & 2 with information for trouble shooting your slides.
