Slide Adjustment driver's side Front
I have searched and found multiple threads on this subject but nothing definitive on how to make the adjustments.
General Information:
1.Four Slide coach
2. Driver's Side Front Slide Needs Adjustment.
3. Single Motor Slide
4. Two Torque bushings associated with this slide.
5. One Torque bushing next to the motor
6. One Torque bushing to the left of the motor toward the front of Coach.
7. Basically the slide appears to be tilted to the left with the top being tilted toward the front of the coach and the bottom being tilted to the back of the coach.
8. The top clearance and bottom clearance seem to be OK.
My question is what all has to be loosened to be able to move the slide for adjustment by identifying each item. Then once I have understood what all needs to be loosened, how do I move the slide to make my adjustments. Move it by hand, adjusting nuts, or other means to get the slide back into adjustment. Please be clear on your instructions as I have never done this before. Could take it to a shop for adjustment but just trying to save a little money. If it appears to be too complicated or other issues that might make it difficult for me to do, I will take it to a shop. I will include some pictures.

From your description , the adjustment required doesn't involve the transtorque bushings; only the slide mounting to the extension arms .
Sounds like the slide isn't square to the wall opening.
Being that your coach is 18 years newer than mine , I'll wait till your pictures are posted to comment further.
EDIT: I see your photos came through while I was typing ; I'll look them over .

Does you slide have adjustment bolts with lock nuts like those in the yellow box in this picture ?
Slide attachment to the extension arm.
From the photo's you've posted it would appear that the alignment of the paint striping will be thrown off by any adjustment .

Skip426,
I don't think Newmar has changed that much over the years, but have made some changes in the way slide outs work.
I have exactly the adjustment bolts you have indicated in your picture. I think I might know how to center the slide back to the wall, but I will not make any assumptions until I hear back from you. Here is a picture of my adjustment bolt with lock nut.

Skip426,
I forgot to say there are four of these adjustment bolts. One on either side of both slide out arms. They are located on the outboard end of the slide out arms.

OK; so things haven't changed .
Now , I'll harken back to my statement about , the paint stripe alignment .
You've noticed the alignment issue in the gaps between the slide and body , my thought is that adjustments , that will even the japs will change the stripes to the point where the overall appearance of that side of the coach will appear worse than it does now.
Having said that , there is a possibility that the actual extension arm has dropped slightly in it's guide , and that is a different adjustment that what's visible under the slide , that adjustment is in the basement ; and I don't think I have pictures of that adjuster.
You need to carefully examine the jap between the bottom of both extension arms to see if the front is closer to the body frame that the other . Red arrow that I've added to the picture.
I'll check my photos and the threads on Newmar slide adjustments to see if that adjustment is detailed.

I will check that measurement Skip. Also if you will look at the original pics that I sent you will notice in pic 0157 that the paint stripes are already out of line. Not a lot but they are. I will let you know what the measurement that you suggested.

OK Skip here are some pictures. It appears the extension arm to the rear is about 1/2 inch lower than the front. I also took a picture of what I think might be the height adjuster for the extension arms in the basement. There is one for each arm, but I just sent you the one picture. Let me know what you think.

I'll have to crawl into my basement to compare the extension arm adjuster (?)and I'll look over the pictures you've posted to try and correlate the measurements ( arm lower in the rear ) with what the slide appears to sit low in front .
One would think that rather than try to raise the arm or slide with the bolts , the safest would be to relieve load on the bolts ; by jacking up the slide at the outer edge ; then loosen the jam nut and move the adjustment bolt having marked the original position in case you need to return to the starting position.
I will look for any info on the slide arm adjustment and get into my basement.

Ok Skip, I appreciate all the information, but I didn't mean for you to take up all your time on this project of mine. I just wanted to save a little money by contacting some of the members on here. I am more than happy to take all the information that you can give me. Here are a little bit better pictures of the slide arms of the height they are from the main frame opening.

I'm unable to find my digital camera ; I though I'd packed it when I left home ; and I'll have to wait until my DW gets home with the cell phone to post a picture of what I found on my coach.
A description of what I've seen ; the adjuster on my coach doesn't have a spring and yours appears to be bound tight.
The plates ; either side ( red arrows added to your picture ); extend up above the slide arm to a roller .
The arm appears to be cantilevered over the drive sprocket ; so that pulling the roller down would raise the end of the arm ( and the slide ) up .
My adjuster has jam a nut where yours has a spring and with the spring being bound , there is no further adjustment to raise the end of the arm.
More info when I've had a chance to take my own pictures.
