Slide bearings breaking.

Found this recently while extending our drivers front slide. It came out near the front of the slide. Another smaller piece was found previously in same area. Slide operates well. I'm sure its a piece of a bearing. Possibly from inside the large roller? Dealer says its not, I think their nuts. How huge of a job is it to replace?Click image for larger version

There is a pdf file, for Newmar Slides, with diagrams of bearing locations, , in the sticky posts at the top of the Newmar owners forums " Quick mods and Easy fixes" ? or is it Quick fixes and Easy Mods.
That's where I got my info, if your year slide mechanism is similar to mine , it looks like the drive shaft has to come out, from the diagram any way , I haven't looked at the coach.

QT's 1 & 2 has all slide information, also for torque bushings which could possibly be your problem.
All the links below in my signature have info for your Newmar.

It looks like to me part of a bearing on the end of a slide roller. Look under the slide with slide in. Slide rollers are not hard to change. Slide needs to be tipped using 2x4s on top of slide to tip up inside edge. Roller at first looks like screws need to be removed but it is spring loaded and just needs to be pushed over no disassembly needed.

If it was a part from torque bushing or any other part of the mechanism it would not be on your floor it would be in basement.
