Slide Controller?

Ok Newmar Newbie question. While camping this weekend and preparing to come home my passenger slide would not come in without my assistance in pushing it up and over the incline. Everything seems normal and no obstructions. On a prior MH I could adjust the controller I looking at the controller on my 2016 Ventana I see no adjustment. So questions are; 1) is the controller adjustable; 2) does the cover have to be removed to adjust?
Oh I also believe the coach may have not been quite level as I was on jacks not air when trying.

Regarding bringing in the slides on the jacks: take a look at your owners manual for the correct procedure for extending/retracting slides. There was an excellent post on IRV2 started by NealC on Newmar slide operations. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f103/new...-346297-2.html
There’s also a link posted by “007” in that post that has lots of information on Newmar slides.

Always, always, always, relevel the coach on the jacks first, if you are going to retract the slides while on jacks. You don't know if, or which jacks, may leak down while the coach is setting, creating a twist on the frame.

Yes I realize I should have brought the slides in on the airbags not the jacks. But on the 2016 Ventana is there potimeter (sp) that you can increase the voltage to get the slide up the hill?

Regarding adjusting current some do & some don't. Below is a pic of one of mine. No way to adjust. Instead you have the controller "relearn". Make sure you are sure there are no issues that are requiring more current for. If you have an issue & have the controller relearn with an issue it's a recipe for a broken slide motor.

At least on my DS we need to first bring up the jacks, then air up the bags and then bring the slides in. My slides are set up to work on aired up bags

Slide Controllers

The C Storm LMC 30 slide controller amp limit is NOT adjustable. That unit is what's shown in the photos of the TwoJayHawks 5/31/23 post. I had that controller running my bedroom slide and it ruined two slide gearboxes before I figured out Newmar commonly used the problem controller when my motor home was built in 2016. I was at the Nappanee Service Center last week and they told me the C Storm LMC 30 puts out 30 amps (note the "30" in the model number) which breaks the gears in bedroom slides. They replaced the slide motor gearbox and replaced the C Storm LMC 30 with an adjustable controller made by Klauber (same company that makes the motor and gearbox) set to an 11 amp limit.
