Slide out

I have pretty much determined that I have a bad slide coltroller board and also a motor issue. I cant make the motor move even when I disconnect it and put a 12 volt battery to it, on either the(+) polarity which pushes the slide out (of which it is out) and on the (-) polarity and it will not come it or even start to move. And on the controller board I have 12 volts coming out of the(+) called motor 1 and nothing coming from the (-) motor 2 which I assume is why the slide wont movein. Doesany one know where I can get another slide motor? I called Newmar and a Dealer (not Newmar) and they bout want way over $500 for the motor and $133 for the controller board. If ya got any ideas holla back at me. Thanks

Try these guys. Northwest RV Supply: Slide-out Motors Prices are much lower on the motor if they have yours.

Why don't you place the + & - leads to the motor inputs and see what will happen.
12v from a battery directly to motor plug contacts, if motor goes in wrong direction reverse the wires to the motor contacts.
A 12v battery not from control board as someone asked.
You may also have a poor ground someplace suppling the control board and that could be from your master 12v fuse panel both + & - screws could be loose.

If motor still does not move check out this link for motor also.
This may not be your slide control but will give some info on slide operation.
You may have this slide control, these controls have P numbers of MFG you maybe able to find on web.
