Slide out canopy

Bay Star 3124
We know that you are not supposed to leave water sitting in the canopy over the slide outs
What do you do if water starts pooling in them?
The jacks are down and it seems to be a pain to pull the jacks up, slides in to drain and then reset up
Suggestions?

Your problem is not new, there should be no reason why you can not pull in your slides with the levelers down as a matter of fact most manufactures tell you to level the rig before putting out the silides. If you are parked on an incline just by lowering the levelers will drain some water off

Ever 2 years I spray 303 on the slide out covers to stop them from leaking water on top of slide. Will dry out in a day or so if the sun comes out or water will shed from slide out cover when you bring the slide in. Use 303 on the front to make the bugs come off easier and the whole coach to protect form UV and sun damage. Great product you can get at CW which is easy to use and gives great protection.

I never worry about water on the slide topper until it is time to leave and bring in the slide. When bringing in the slide with water on it we bring the slide in a small distance at a time and give the water time to drain off. I like the idea of spraying with water repellent but have not done it yet.

Your awnings may need more tension to be tighter so water will run off and not pool. --- # 1 ----- # 2
