Slide out control panel blinking lights

2005 dutch star newmar,
kitchen slide out when I push the button it talks to me and then unlocks but then it does nothing.lights under on control board blink. after waiting a few minutes and pushing the slide out button twice so its set to go the same way again I wiggled the square wiring block that go into the controller and the light stops blinking and the slide goes in or out like its suppose to. any ideas on what could be causing the error (blinking light) I believe its the middle light out of the three lights.maybe just using some contact cleaner so it makes a good connection?

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I would spray the connections with a cleaner that has lubricant, such as the Radio Shack Tuner Cleaner. Plug and unplug the connectors several times after spraying to let friction help with the cleaning!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
