Slide out issues

I have a early 2000 Newmar with power slide locks.
My kitchen slide work intermittently. When it doesn't it will go through the process of unlocking but won't slide out, the light on the switch will just start blinking, any ideas?

Also my bedroom slide works but once in the open position the slide locks go back to the locked position which leaves a opening for the weather, is there a adjustment for this.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.
In QT's 1 & 2 you will find all slide information for slides and locks.
The lock controls the operation of slide and if the contacts have gotten water in them you need to clean locks or replace them. There are threads for locks and what people have done to fix them and spec by Newmar on how to trouble shoot them.
All the links below in my signature have other info for your Newmar.
QT's # 3 has PROBLEM SOLVERS that may have other slide info for you.
Here is a link to TSB's for your coach and you can get brochure and owners guide in it also plus other information.
I have givin you some of the links for your problem.

So read up on how to troubleshoot problem but need a s/o test box and/ or a lock box test tool #81944. Called Newmar and they no longer have them. Any ideas where I can get them?
