Is there a video anywhere that shows how the slide bar tool works? I've tried to figure out how that thing is supposed to be used and can't figure it out. I lock the ones I can reach by hand, but there a couple that you can't reach by hand that I just don't bother with.

Which begs another question.....does it matter if you only lock one side of a slide?

Your coach has the optional auto locks. It was a $2700 option on our 2015 Ventana.

rmcorbb, its best to practice on your large slide where you can see it operate.
You have two hooks on end of tool bar and a pivot point that you place that pin below the bar clamp to open lock, lifting up and above the bar clamp and push down to lock the bar.
Top hook of tool bar is to open the lock bar and bottom hook of tool would be used to lock the bar.
The hooks of tool bar would be to the wall.
I would say eventually the option $2700 will be standard, less headaches for Newmar compared to all the electrical lock problems.
