Slide out motor change

I didn't know about bolts working loose on slide out motors. Back in January at the Tampa RV Show, I even had a Newmar tech check all 4 slides to ensure they were operating properly. He said they were fine and said nothing about bolts working loose. Now, all 4 bolt mounts have broken off my front passenger side slide. We've owned this coach over 11 years.

I have ordered a new slide out motor (over $700). Not sure how to go about installing the new motor. Any advice would be appreciated.

You have seen this thread covers the bolt problem, slide problems, broken brackets, slide stop rods you name it, its all there.
In QT's 1 & 2 all slide information is located.
Maybe this search will help you also.
RV Upgrades has many slide
replacement motors one of our sponsors.
I had a 2003 coach and large slide only needed a small adjustment on control pot to get slide up ramp so not as much stress was placed on motor and gears, these 12v motors need a good 12v to operate correctly, either shore line plugged in or running your Gen will supply that.
All the links below in my signature have info for your Newmar.

Thanks for the information. I have a motor on order. Should be here in 3 days. Hopefully your information will help me with the installation of the new motor/gearbox.
