Yes,just did a CPU last week. Tech says you can i the diesels. I Tried it and it works fine. Also asked about level or no, he said either is fine as long as your reveal is ok. But it's preferred leveling jacks down.

It would be really nice if Newmar would get all of their techs on the same page.
Jack's before or after slides. For many years it was Jack's then slides. Then with our DS and now our MA it is just the opposite.

If on air level, I retract slides then start engine. If on hydraulic level, frame could be torqued and always air up and then retract slides.

On my 2011 MADP, FWS goes in or out with engine running, passenger slides , engine must be off !

We always air up well in advance of retracting slides and departure. We have noticed in the past, that slides will not retract when the engine is running. This really seems to work well for us as it gives us a chance to check things out before we rollout. The other thing is it gives me something to do because Lynn is a late riser. It does seem like a nice relaxed pace though!
