My big LR slide is having a problem, when I go to slide it in it starts up the incline but then stops. I read a post not too long ago about a pressure cut out adjuster, it seems that this might just be my problem. In that post the adjuster was under the sink, but I don't see anything there. Anybody have an idea of where mine might be and how to adjust it?
TIA

John,
The pressure adjustment is on the chassis rail in the basement on the passenger side. The controllers are black boxes and inside there are little white adjusters. One does the outward pressure and one does the inward pressure I believe.
Good luck, Daryl

John, The switch is an electrical limiter switch and stops the slide when so many volts are drawn. Tech reccommened 1/8 turn for each adj. I make it a practice to be connected to shore power or gen running to insure I have volts to operated the slide. They are located on the frame rail.

This occurred to me once. I corrected it by starting the generator and the slide went in and out with no problem.
I never activate the slides unless I am hooked up or on generator. I dont know why I did it this time without either, but it was a lesson well learned.

The cut-off is actually on the amount of amps the motor draws. When you make the adjustment on the board you are increasing the amount of amps before the motor stops.
If your batteries are low the motor will shut off too quick so make sure the batteries are fully charged before you try to bring the slide in or make the adjustment. Turn no more than 1/8 turn clockwise to increase the amps and if that doesn't fix it turn about 1/8 turn more.
If you still have a problem there must be a bind and you will need a pro look at it.

When you have the slide out part way take alook at ramp from outside to see if something has not fallen between ramp and roller or a roller off mounting bracket.

Thanks, I found it and cranked it up a hair. I'll know for sure when I go to leave in the morning, it has only happened with it is cold outside. It has always been plugged in to 50 amp service when it has happened.
I'll look in the morning and check the rollers.
Thanks again

Where do you look to see "the ramps"?
I know where the rollers are and use the wax-type spray on them occasionally, but I suspect that "the ramp" might also could use some waxing.

The ramp is the slope your slide drops down as it becomes flush to the wall. With slide stopped 3/4 the way out you will see it looking under the slide outside.
Should not need waxing rollers should roll on slope.
