Slide stopping

What might cause a slide to stop coming back IN after just coming up the "ramp"? About 8" in. Did this twice to me yesterday but finally worked on 3rd attempt. Would like to sort out before hit the road. Suggestions of things to look for?

If your batteries are weak may cause slide to loose motion to bring in the slide.
If you coach is plugged in to power the control unit may need a small increase on it pot to supply more current to 12v motor. Only adjust in small increments.
In QT's 1 & 2 has slide info for you.

Thankyou. I had low chassis batteries. Had to boost batteries to start engine. That was probably it.

If you had access to a shore power connection even 120 volts your converter would have supplied the good 12v's always needed to move your slides.

"Trish".....Glad to see that "007" hit your issue on the head and you were able to confirm it. As a policy, I always operate my slides with the coach plugged in if I can. When I arrive I connect all of my utilities first so I don't have to crawl under a slide to do so. This ensures my slides have full power. I do the same when I leave.

If you're boon docking and have run your batteries down, it's best to have the generator running while bringing in the slides.
