Slide tray handle broke......

Went to lift the tee handle on the compartment slide tray and a spring and the latch catch and another piece fell out the bottom onto the ground Looking at it, and trying to get the tee handle out of the hole its in, unit is welded in place, tee handle does not come out of its hole, looks like white metal to me..........How have others repaired them......?

Here is a photo of the tray .........The tee handle that you see is just flopping around and the latching parts fell out the bottom
It does not look as it was made to be worked on or repaired......
Just wondering if this has happened to someone else and how they fixed theirs.

Is there a mfg name on the slide someplace and do you turn the T handle to release the locks?

It is a spring loaded latch, pull the handle up to release it and pull the tray out, and just slide it in and the tapered latch slides up and into its locked position. I will look for a manufactures tag. I just looked at it again, and it looks like the latch assembly was welded into place I will take photo's of it and the parts that fell out.......to get a better idea on my problem. I put 2 small chunks of 2x4 in front of the tray while traveling, so it does not slide out and hit the compartment door while traveling.
In the one photo, the piece standing up is the one that broke off the handle.
