slides out before leveling jacks down?

I've seen some newmar videos where they recommend putting the slides out before the jacks are down. the video was showing a diesel so does idea just apply to the diesel coaches or the gas too.

They are referring to the hydraulic full wall slide.

If your thinking of buying a Newmar DP yes you look at reveal if OK you move out full wall slide.
If FWS operated incorrectly this can be the result.
If your buying a new gas coach with FWS, you level first then put out slides.
