Thumbs down Smell Smoke???

We have a wonderful 2005 DSDP. Recently smelled ozone or perhaps smoke coming from the front third of the coach from the ac vents. NOT in the rear. Turned off front ac at the fuse box. Went away. We now run both ac's. This has happened 4 times in the last 2 months (we are full timing) always on hot days. The map light on the drivers side does not work. Everything else seems to work fine. The smell is not super strong but it is up there. Looked & sniffed through the front light fixture (ceiling) - nothing. The smell does not persist but slowly goes away (when the Front ac is turned back on). Throwing the fuse does not immediately change anything. Hopefully someone out there has had a similar situation. It is no longer scary - but a puzzle,

Might have a loose connection on the roof AC. I'd jump up and pull the cover and see if you have a loose connection starting to burn before it might burn into and ruin the AC .

Welcome to the forum & irv2.
Maybe your AC needs to be cleaned, dust or dirt on cooling unit in AC may have collected all the camp fires you have seen.
Do you have a push button on map light that needs to be pushed when passenger light is on than control from dash switch.

Warning..... There is 120v running around the AC even when it is OFF. Unplug from shore power is the only way to make sure you don't have 120v up there.
